Hey mate, I’ve just started a rebuild on an old Caribbean Invader, 20ft. When putting in a new transom how do you know what thickness to re install? It had a 115 on the back but I’m looking at a 150 to go on Any tips would be appreciated cheers

I’m enjoying your build should be a solid boat when completed. I didn’t think you could you both epoxy and vinyl-ester resin together .

Good job. I watch boatworkstoday and I've learned a lot of tricks for my current repairs. If you want to make the corners easier to work with I found polyester structural repair putty does a really nice job of rounding corners. you can mold it like caulk or silicone and in 15-20 min it's dry. Your project looks good.

Where can I get one of those jigs? Looks homemade, but I don’t trust myself to do it perfectly.

Looks like a TrailIt trailer. I have one also for my Genesis. I dont think they were dipped or built very well to be honest. Mine needs to be stripped apart. Looks worse than yours!
